Covering Solihull & Surrounding Areas
Mandy Rigby, an experienced dog behaviour & training advisor, has helped hundreds of dog owners and breeds over the years with her kind, professional and ethical approach. Mandy’s focus now lies within building the foundations from early puppyhood and then through to adolescence which can start as young as fourteen weeks of age. Puppy care givers can often encounter challenges whilst puppy develops through the early development stages. These stages happen rapidly as puppy learns to adapt into it’s new human family way of life. It can be hard to keep up with the weekly changes in behaviour your new puppy will exhibit
Mandy is here to support and coach puppy parents in helping them to understand their new family member and develop the communication skills required to overcome what can seem frustrating behaviours that many new puppy parents will experience. In building a rock solid relationship between human and puppy through these crucial early weeks can transform what can be a exciting but also daunting time to a positive experience on the journey to achieve a wonderful adult dog to share your life with. Puppy services include 1-2-1 Puppy Parenting Support Sessions, 1-2-1 Puppy Learns Sessions and group learning for human parents and puppies from 12 weeks of age through to adolescent classes up to 12 months old
Mandy also specializes in separation anxiety issues in puppies and adult dogs, developing tailored programmes for dogs to enable them to learn that being home alone is okay
Mandy is the Founder of Scent Work Academy which delivers classes, workshops, events and trials. This great nose work sport holds many benefits for companion dogs of all ages and it is Mandy’s passion to see many more people and their dogs involved in the activity in the coming years.
