Mandy Rigby, an experienced dog behaviour & training specialist, has helped hundreds of dog owners and breeds over the years with her kind, professional and ethical approach. Mandy’s focus now lies within building the foundations from early puppyhood through to the onset of adolescence which starts as young as fourteen weeks of age. Owners can often struggle with their puppy’s behaviours which can change rapidly through the early development stages
Mandy is here to coach puppy parents in helping them to understand their new family member and develop the communication skills required to overcome many of the frustrating behaviours that new puppy parents experience. In building a rock solid relationship between human and puppy through the early weeks can transform what can be a challenging time to a positive experience on the journey to achieve a wonderful adult dog to share your life with. Puppy services include 1-2-1 training and classes for puppies from 12 weeks and adolescent classes up to 12 months old
Mandy also specializes in separation anxiety issues in puppies and adult dogs, developing tailored programmes for dogs to enable them to learn that being home alone is okay
Mandy is the Founder of Scent Work Academy running classes, workshops, events and trials. This great nose work sport holds many benefits for companion dogs and it is Mandy’s passion to see many more people and their dogs involved in the activity in the coming years
