It’s a really exciting time welcoming your new puppy in to your life and having guidance at hand in the early weeks provides you with the knowledge and support to feel more confident in the raising of your puppy in the important early development stage
There will be lots of fun times but it can be quite overwhelming if you are unsure of what to do for the best. Mandy’s puppy course provides both foundation training and puppy parenting advice. The course is fun and unpressurized whilst you and your new canine friend learn alongside one and other
Mandy is an experienced puppy trainer, holds a diploma in canine behaviour, BCCS PETbc, a certified family dog mediator, separation anxiety specialist and scent detection trainer. Mandy only utilises positive reward training methodology and is a member of PPG and iTD

As puppy’s parent you will learn about..
- How your puppy learns through positive reward training

- Reading your puppy’s body languages
- The importance of providing your puppy the key elements for a fulfilled balanced day
- Lots of puppy parenting discussion topics including overviews on diet, exercise and neutering

- The course runs on Thursday evenings at Solihull Lodge Community Centre, Solihull B90 1NJ
- Six consecutive weeks at a cost of £125
- Age range 12-24 weeks
- Puppies required to have received their first two vaccinations prior to commencing
- A follow on life skills course is available with Leanne and beginner scent work workshops with Mandy should you wish to pursue this great activity with your puppy
- If you are getting a new puppy now is the time to book your puppy’s place with Mandy. Booking in advance is advised as places go very quickly for this course

We took our young dog Archie to puppy classes with Mandy and had a fantastic experience.
Every session was great fun and we learnt a lot. Mandy is clearly very knowledgeable and was able to tailor the tasks to suit each dogs needs. We particularly enjoyed the socialisation element in each session (which are monitored so your pup is never out of their depth!), and the opportunity to try new things like low level agility.
We had a great time and I think Archie was sad to graduate!
Thank you Mandy and the team for the last six weeks of Puppy School! Not only did Poppy have a fantastic time with all the other pups but she has learnt lots of the essential commands and really learnt to listen to us. A fab course and would highly recommend for anyone with a new puppy.
This is the second time we have used Yes! Good dog with Mandy. Firstly with our adult dog with a 1 to 1 session and now positive puppy weekly training with our puppy Chester. He has learnt so much! And had fun along the way. Everything taught at puppy class can be used out in the real world which we found very useful. We also loved that training would be altered slightly for each puppy to match their personality type. If we struggled with anything the team were always happy to help us individually until we got there.
The whole experience has been great, always good fun and positive, would highly recommend and looking forward to scent work
